Meiqi He and Dan Huy Tran met during their master’s in Surgical Innovation at McGill University. While shadowing plastic surgeons at the McGill university Health Centre, they saw the toll of breast reconstruction on patients—the anxiety, uncertainty, and lack of insight. Surgeons also voiced the need for a tool to streamline workflow and enhance precision. Inspired by these challenges and driven by their passion for healthcare innovation, they set out to develop an AI-powered solution to bring data-driven clarity to both patients and surgeons.
